Congratulations, you survived the long, cold pandemic winter and now it’s time to reward yourself by soaking up some vitamin D. Is that double digit weather putting some spring in your step? We’re right there with you. Here are six outdoor activities we can’t wait to do this season!

1) Biking

It’s time to swing open those shed doors and dust off the ol’ faithful two wheeler. Springtime is the perfect opportunity to get back into cycling and refresh your winter commute. Not only is biking an amazing cardiovascular activity, it's a chance to save money on gas and get out there and breath in some fresh air. Hop on and go explore your local trails and parks!

2) Disc Golf

Now here is a low maintenance activity we can get behind. If you like going for walks, throwing a frisbee around and hanging out with buds...this may be just the one for you. This up & coming sport is rapidly increasing in popularity around the world, and it's fun for both newbies and seasoned veterans alike. Check out some local courses near you.

3) Dog Parks

Need we say more? With springtime comes more opportunities to get your pooch socializing under the sun, and a pretty good workout for you too! Don’t have a dog? Text your closest dog-owning friends and load up the car. There are adorable spring puppies waiting.

4) Kayaking

There is something very special about being out on the water when the spring birds are chirping and the world is coming back to life. It’s such a relaxing way to enjoy the great outdoors. Check out some local options near you that rent kayaks by the hour - they're usually a reasonable price for an unforgettable day of fun.

5) Visit some patios

It’s our favourite time of the year- patio season! Here’s a perfect excuse to support some of your local businesses that may have struggled over the winter. Grab lunch or have a few day drinks with friends at a local restaurant or brewery! Not drinking? Ask the server for some delicious non-alcoholic options.

6) Go for a walk

The simplest activity of all. Nothing beats just going out for a stroll and taking it all in. Plug in some headphones and go check out your local boardwalk or public gardens. Guaranteed to clear your head and boost your mood.

Happy Spring!
