Wow. Where does the time go? Libra is officially turning two years old and we want to celebrate by taking a look back at all of the fantastic opportunities, experiences, milestones and accomplishments that have happened since we launched!
In no particular order and all equally important to us:
Being the first NA sponsor at Bluesfest in Ottawa:
This wasn’t just a milestone for us but also for the entire NA movement. Having options at festivals, concerts and events of this size, (especially ones that are usually alcohol based) is something we have been pushing for over the past few years and to see the door starting to open was such a refreshing feeling! The entire team at Bluesfest was so welcoming to us and treated us like one of their own. We can’t thank them enough for such a special experience!
Partnering with Serena Ryder:
Having Serena on board as our Balance Ambassador really kicked things off for us in 2021. This partnership means so much to us in many different ways- our alignment on health and wellness, ArtHaus and the music community and most recently, having Serena brew her own beer, are just a few of the things we are so grateful for. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements coming soon!
Launching new products:
We went from launching our OG Pale Ale to now having a line-up of SEVEN different non-alcoholic brews- IPA, Stout, Pilsner, Cherry Sour, Pumpkin Spice Ale and most recently- Lavender Sage Cream Ale. We’ve got the best brewer out there!
Winning International Beer Awards:
We are super proud of the awards we’ve had the privilege of winning over the past few years- including 5 World Beer Awards and 3 NY International Beer Competition awards, making our flagship 5 products, all award winners! No small feat for a little non-alc brew from PEI.
Launching at the LCBO:
We worked so incredibly hard behind the scenes to bring this launch to fruition and are still not over it! Seeing Libra on the shelves at the LCBO feels surreal. For us, this was proof that NA products are more than ready to sit next to alcohol products on the shelf and offer options for everyone.
Growing our Atlantic distribution:
Launching at Sobeys and growing with them over the past few years has been so rewarded. Being able to have such a big presence in Atlantic Canada (our home) means so much. Then comes our launch at Atlantic Superstores! Being so easily accessible in grocery stores across the Maritimes makes our hearts happy.
Growing our team:
As Libra grew, so did our team! We’re so happy to have found some awesome people that are fully dedicated to the brand.
Sponsoring awesome events:
Lots of events and sponsorship opportunities have come our way over the years. From Harvest Music Festival and the ECMA’s in Fredericton to the PEI Marathon, Ottawa Pride and many more- we love getting out there, meeting our fans and sampling Libra.
Spreading the Libra Message - Finding your balance:
We’ve been lucky enough to be included in some amazing publications that we’ve admired for a long time. From Forbes, to Chatelaine, Breakfast Television and many more, we’re so honored to keep spreading the Libra message, and helping Canadians to find their balance.
