World Environment Day also known as Eco Day comes around once a year, on June 5th.Â
This day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our planet. It is also the most widely recognized international day for the environment, and has grown to be the largest global platform for environmental outreach.Â
The 2022 campaign #OnlyOneEarth calls for collective, transformative action on a global scale to celebrate, protect and restore our earth.Â

A few examples of how we continue to meet the B Lab standards is by using renewable energy in our taproom, donating our spent grain to our local farmers and by sourcing all of our supplies locally first, when possible.Â
Every Spring, members of our team take part in a tree planting day to offset our office paper usage. We love doing a big day like this every year to give back to our planet and community. Here’s our planting crew from a few weeks ago:Â
If you are interested in doing your part this World Environment Day, planting a tree is the perfect activity. The benefits of planting are numerous. By planting more trees, it will contribute to global reforestation efforts, restoring lost forests, repairing damaged ecosystems and mitigating climate changes.
